Founded as KITLIK Trans GmbH, FRACHTLOTSEN has grown consistently into a medium-sized freight forwarding company with its main office in Schwarzenbruck in the 'Nürnberger Land' district. Thanks to an experienced core workforce, a highly modern fleet of vehicles and a dedicated workshop, we can master all logistical requirements. Be it from A to B or one minute to the next – our team makes almost any transport task possible … we've been doing it for over 30 years!
The abridged story of FRACHTLOTSEN
Early 1990s: The transport company was founded - with just one 7.5-ton truck and just one customer: the trans-o-flex Express Group.
1995 to 2007: The small company became a limited company and the fleet was expanded to 15 trucks. Even though the journeys were rather simple in nature, we already began to develop our current strength at that time: optimized vehicle planning. In order to achieve better fleet utilization, we accepted orders that other carriers would have turned down. Perhaps because they were to be carried out at an unconventional time or the transportation would not have been worthwhile without a connecting tour.
2011: Continuous optimization and innovative solutions by our team formed more and more of what we are: a scheduling system that is both flexible and efficient. The work paid off. Hardly any empty runs and consistently high quality - this also won over many new customers. Now we were finally in a position to reconcile the diverse requirements of different logistics companies.
2018: After more than 10 years in the team, Udo Mattern took over the company.
2021: Under the new name DIEFrachtlotsen, we combine flexibility and efficiency as well as team spirit and social interaction; the word "DIE" now also deliberately comes first in the name - for all the people who help shape our success as a team.
2024: We were awarded the silver medal by Ecovadis for our sustainability efforts for the third time in a row, placing us in the top 15% of companies assessed.
Today: We have created a nationwide network that enables us to support our customers as a reliable problem solver. To this end, we have developed concepts for sustainability in many areas out of conviction, which we continue to put into practice.
